Don't stop decorating

STYLING WONDERS: I'm in the middle of decorating my bedroom right now, and I've been inspired by '70s style, think "Three's Company" and Mrs. Roper. Or, a better way to put that, is Fleetwood Mac. I've gone with a wicker chair and plush white rugs for my bedroom, much like those seen here, and I've added a mix of textiles to add depth to the room. Working off this old band photo, I chose black and white graphic pillows, similar to Christie McVie's blouse, to contrast with the white rugs in the room. The World Market iron wall hanging, above, keeps with the natural vibe of the wicker and wool. Last but not least, yurdan.com sells beautiful Uzbeki suzanis that make great bed coverings or wall hangings. They add a bohemian vibe to the room while still keeping things pretty. If you're scared to go too '70s, you can forego the wicker for wood, but try to stick with natural furniture to keep an organic feeling.

Enviable abode

GWYNETH'S GORGEOUS HOME: Metropolitan Home magazine's last cover story before the magazine folded was on Gwyneth Paltrow's summer house in the Hamptons. It's a gorgeous home, with a beautiful pink blossom glass chandelier and a standalone yoga/pilates studio in the backyard. It's pretty spectacular, yet definitely sickening, and totally enviable. Known for her simple and classic style, Paltrow's home reflects those tastes, and is decorated in cool tones with a lot of blue and white. Her home is as indicative of her style as her wardrobe, which is a good start for inspiration if you're struggling with how to decorate your home. Take a look at your closet, see what colors your attracted to, what shapes you like and what fabrics appeal to you, and start from there.

The life of Lindsay

REBEL, REBEL: Lindsay Lohan seems troubled in the same way that Britney Spears is, you almost don't want to say anything bad about them because you feel so bad for them. When it comes to wardrobes though, Spears isn't in anywhere near the same league as Lohan, who wears the trends well, and always mixes it up. We like Lohan best when she looks the age she really is, and when her hair is either her natural red or the dark brunette she tried last year. The look at right is our favorite, she's wearing a floaty little frock perfect for her age, has returned to her roots with red hair and is wearing the best accessory of all, a smile.

Top twin

LOOSE AND LOVELY: With the release of their upscale fashion line, The Row, the Olsen twins have made it official: they're style stars in their own right. The pair were part of the bohemian layered trend that overtook stores a few years ago with their signature long skirts, roomy shirts and sunglasses. But Ashley has always been the more polished of the two, preferring a more streamlined silhouette. To get the look pair casual Ts with more formal skirts, be generous with your accessories, go for an unexpected shoe and choose a coat that will be as stylish as what its covering.

Gwyneth gets the gold

PRAISING PALTROW: Gwyneth Paltrow appears on the new W magazine bronzed and boldly declaring her desire to get back into making Hollywood hits. Paltrow has always made good movies and given good style, similar to our Aussie favorite Cate Blanchett. Our favorite flicks to check out with Paltrow? Mrs. Parker and the Vicious Circle This small flick from the mid-'90s is a peek into the life of Dorothy Parker, and has an incredible 1920s look and feel. Sliding Doors This is the film for which Paltrow cut her hair, leaving her and then-fiance Brad Pitt looking eerily similar. Shakespeare in Love It's every bit as good as the hype, and Paltrow has never been more radiant, or likable. The Talented Mr. Ripley Paltrow was channeling Grace Kelly in her role as the tragic Marge in this Anthony Minghella thriller. Shot in Italy, the scenery is as engrossing as the plot, and, um, Jude Law.

Creative chic

Sienna Miller's style is so ecclectic her look can easily be achieved with a little creative shopping. She favors some of the trends of the moment, flats, skinny jeans, vests and triangle tops, but puts her own spin on the styles by adding a casual and individual touch. Whether it's braided hair, ripped hems or a messy bun, she never looks contrived, only consistently cool.

Kate the fashion plate

Kate's California style is the definition of laid back. She often wears jeans and sports tousled waves and natural makeup. Some of our favorite looks: 1. Kate's long sweater paired with jeans and a white blouse are casual yet chic. 2. We love the dangly beaded earrings matched with the topknot. 3. It's all about the boots in this one. 4. Kate's best-dressed red carpet moment. The beautiful gown looks as if it could have been reworked from something in her closet. 5. The white vest worn alone is a fresh take on the trend. 6. Check out the fringed bag, total California cool.
